Each spring this organization hosts a writers’ conference in the idyllic setting of New Harmony, Ind. During the conference, writers develop new works for theatre, film, and television. New scripts are given two weeks of intensive development with a professional community of directors, actors, dramaturges, and musical directors. The scripts are developed under the guideline that works must emphasize the dignity of the human spirit and the worth of the human experience.
