The Character House Theatre Company was founded in 2019 by a group of Butler Theatre alumni looking to continue creating the kind of theatre they had in college using the method of Mikhail Chekhov and Konstantin Stanislavski, also influenced heavily by Mikhail Butkevich’s Theatre of Games.

Our company produces both scripted and devised work and focuses heavily on in-depth character development and strives to create life on stage.
