In August 2021, eleven members of The Eighteen Art Collective created 12 large-scale, temporary murals at the south end of the Clay Terrace mall in Carmel. The murals will remain installed through August 2022 while redevelopment of the property is ongoing.

The murals are as follows:

The Eighteen is a collective of 18 like minded and civically-engaged Black visual artists living in and around the Indianapolis metropolitan area. In 2020 they were individually brought together and created the Black Lives Matter Mural in Indianapolis, IN and in 2021 they made their status as a collective official. Their mission is to collaborate on the betterment of Black creatives and the community that they serve.

The Art Walk is a partnership between Clay Terrace and GANGGANG Culture, whose mission is to develop cultural entrepreneurs with a strong focus on racial equity.
