During the COVID-19 pandemic, stay-at-home orders kept people inside to slow the spread of the virus. To make art accessible to the community despite this, 10 East Arts featured “View From My Window,” a roving window art exhibition for the months of May and June 2020 with work from local artists on view in storefront windows along East 10th Street.

This art Installation by Emily Gable of Bootleg Sign Company features two funky abstract people, one of whom is wearing rollerskates.

Bootleg Sign Company is a small business owned and operated by Emily Gable that hand-paints signs and murals in Indianapolis. Gable is from Peru, Indiana and graduated from Herron School of Art and Design before starting Bootleg Sign Company in 2017.
