This mural, created for a private residence, highlights the Indiana state bird and state flower, the cardinal and peony respectively. The mural incorporates the artist’s signature style of juxtaposing images against graphic lines and patterns.

Martin Kuntz is an American artist living and working in Indianapolis. Born in Vlissingen, Netherlands, Kuntz moved to his Hoosier home at the age of 3. He graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland in 2008 with a BFA in Painting. He continues to work and show in various galleries in and around the Midwest.
