This mural represents what some people may see in a dream (the bold colors, an enigmatic figure, the glitches, etc). The female figure is a representation of what could be inside of us and what could visit us in our dreams to remind us to continue to dream boldly and loudly.  The figure has a paintbrush and is in the process of creating a dreamlike reality. It is a reminder that we can create our destiny if we work hard and stay consistent, and if we never give up, anything is possible. The dream doesn’t have to stay a dream:  with action it could become a reality! As an extra dreamlike feature, viewing the mural with 3D glasses (available inside the store) will give the illusion of “popping” off the wall.

Dream was created through a partnership between Jiffy Lube of Indiana and the Arts Council of Indianapolis. The partnership is an opportunity to showcase local artists, beautify commercial corridors with original public art murals, and encourage viewers through positive images while expressing the goals of Jiffy Lube’s programming: Growing People Through Work.
