Indianapolis-based artist, William Denton Ray, worked with police officers to create this larger-than-life whimsical scene. Situated on the second floor roof, Ray’s bright, bold figures welcome drivers traveling north into the City on I-65. Loves You…You Love celebrates the spirit of community service found at The Fraternal Order of Police; and the reciprocal love one has for community and the love that the community has for the individual.

The mural is best viewed from I-65 looking north, or from the intersection of Olive and Pleasant Run Parkway, looking northwest.

The mural was one of 46 murals commissioned by the Arts Council of Indianapolis as part of its nationally renowned 46 for XLVI murals initiative.
