Stanley’s series of murals delivers a colorful panorama of flora and fauna featuring the four seasons of the Indiana landscape. The work also pays tribute to the old Pennsylvania Railroad system that ran just a few feet from where the Irvington Flea Market stands now. The railroad tracks wind throughout each section of the mural to connect the natural beauty of Irvington’s tree-lined streets with its storied history. Irvington Flea Market is located at 6301 East Washington Street, Irvington Seasons is located on the back of the Flea Market, facing the Pennsy Trail.  

The mural was one of 46 murals commissioned by the Arts Council of Indianapolis as part of its nationally renowned 46 for XLVI murals initiative.
