Outdoor Sculpture - Temporary

W Main St & Veterans Way, Carmel, IN, 46032

This sculpture, featuring three rings of tubes each with their own primary color and shape, is temporarily on exhibit in the Carmel Arts District at the corner of W Main Street and Veterans Way. The piece was installed in 2017 and created by Herron Art student Scott Osborne. The tube on the east end is made from a series of yellow rectangles. The center tube is made from blue triangles.  The west tube is made from red circles.  Each of the tubes is held together by connecting rods for stability and uses the space between the tube pieces to make the overall tube shape arc forward.

Scott Osborne was a senior at Herron School of Art majoring in Integrated Studio Practices with a focus in sculpture and illustration when he made this sculpture. Osborne is currently a freelance artist in Indianapolis.
