Mural

 924 E Westfield Blvd, Indianapolis, IN, 46220

Megan Jefferson and Jamie Locke have been friends for years and have collaborated on several art and mural projects. Together they have created several pairs of angel wings around Indianapolis. This angel wings mural is on the east side of the building and has a gradient yellow and green background. The mural is interactive and meant to inspire selfies.

Megan Jefferson is an Indianapolis painter and has been actively creating work ever since receiving her BFA from Miami University. She has exhibited extensively, regionally, and sells her work to designers and individual patrons. Jefferson’s work shifts in theme depending on the series. She loves to create pieces that have a focus on color-based abstraction.

Jamie Locke is best known for her intricate hand-carved mandalas on wood, metal, glass and leather. A self-taught artist, Locke is adept at taking a vision and turning it into reality. Her strength is in her hunger for creating, and exploring different methods and mediums, always bearing in mind that in the creative process the vision sometimes evolves into something completely unexpected.
