Carmel, IN-based artist (Ne)Koda Witsken was selected to create the first piece of public art sponsored by the Town of Zionsville and the Zionsville Cultural District. Her mural pays homage to Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President and the namesake of nearby Lincoln Park.  The park is on the site of the former train depot where Lincoln stopped to speak to the citizens of Zionsville on his way to his inauguration in 1861.

Witsken is the owner of Hue Murals & Studio of Indianapolis.  As an artist, she feels her mission is to beautify spaces in an eco-friendly, culturally inclusive way. Her work is characterized by brilliant colors and a contemporary, yet representational style.
