In the spring of 2020, Nekoda Witsken created a whimsical mural on the south side of the Verizon Building located in the Fishers District development.  Using blocks of color in her abstract way, the mural’s bright palette and unexpected location adds interest to what would otherwise be just a collection of blank business walls.  The image features what may be an interpretation of the artist’s own face and arms holding out a bouquet.

Nekoda Witsken is the artist behind Hue Murals, where she passionately specializes in indoor and outdoor large-scale murals for public and private projects. Tying community engagement, sense of place, and cohesive branding into her custom works is key to her artistic practice.
