This colorful, abstract mural was created as a Day of Service project with Indianapolis Power and Light Co. Titled Mountains and Valleys, it highlights the park building and the energy of the park while also blending into the green of the park’s lawns.

LaShawnda Crowe Storm is is a mixed-media artist, activist, community builder, and urban farmer. She uses her creative power as a vehicle for dialogue, social change, and healing. At the core of Crowe Storm’s creative practice is a desire to create a community in which the process of making art creates a space and place for difficult conversations, around topics ranging from historical violence to gender empowerment.
