Sugar Creek Art Center (SCAC) is open from 11:00-5:00 Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (March-Dec.). Please join us for Culture @ the Creek opening art receptions every first Thursday of the month from 6:00-8:30 pm. Our exhibition season runs from March through December. SCAC is closed during the months of January and February.

We embrace diversity of artistic expression, the creative process and community engagement. Currently SCAC represents both guest and resident studio artists who work in acrylic, oil, watercolor, rosemaling folk art, wood turning, digital photography, mixed media, jewelry, porcelain / stoneware ceramics, fiber, leather, marbled paper, linocut relief block and intaglio printing. Our facility houses working art studios and the Front Gallery, Textile Gallery, Artist of the Month Gallery, Upper Gallery and the SCAC Gift Shop featuring the work of many accomplished and recognized fine artists and craft artisans.

Also, join us for the Annual Western Boone H.S. Show (WEBO) in May, the Annual Fall Art Market during the Festival of Turning Leaves in September and the Annual Holiday Art Market between Thanksgiving and Christmas where guests may browse booths in our large event area. We encourage guest artists to exhibit with us. Please contact us if interested.

Our facility houses a caterer, “Nameless Catering,” working from our commercial kitchen.  We have hosted family and school reunions, business conferences, celebration of life events, fashion style shows, community meetings and town chili suppers. We would love to show you our little corner of the world. Please contact us for tours and bookings!
