This piece is located in a steeply inclined fountain west of the museum’s main entrance. It was assembled from layered, laser-cut metal frameworks and resembles a paddlewheel steam boat making its way, fish-like-, upstream. The lines of the ascending steamboat, designed to simulate a raised topographic map, reflect the hilly landscape of sounthern IN.
