“Boitatá”is a Brazilian myth symbolized by a snake of fire or light. The snake is said to bring light into a dark world, and is a sign of protection or hidden treasures.  The artists of the mural were inspired by the thriving international culture that surrounds the Jiffy Lube location, and intended to celebrate the diverse and dynamic community through the mural’s vibrant colors.
