The mural, depicting one of Indiana’s most beloved native flower species being visited by bees, is located on the side of a building at The Forest Flower garden center. Echinacea purpurea (Eastern purple coneflower) is a showy, easy to grow perennial that tolerates moderate drought, and has many benefits including feeding important pollinators and holding soil.
