Interwoven is a metaphor for the energy of movement. It is inspired by the American social fabric, textiles, and the multicultural diversity of the community surrounding 56th and Georgetown Rd.
Textiles are often used as a form of expression and a way to share stories and history. Movement is seen in the creation of textiles as the shuttle moves the thread back and forth across the loom through the action of weaving.
