Dedicated on December 14, 2014, Mayor Bill is a significant sculpture representing Hon. William H. Hudnut III, former Mayor of Indianapolis, who served the Indianapolis community from 1976 – 1992. As a four-term mayor, Bill Hudnut was responsible for the formation of a public-private sector partnership that led to Indianapolis’s emergence during the 1980’s as a major American city. He was actively involved in private sector developments such as the $300M Circle Centre downtown
