Pearson’s mural pays homage to the Pennway building on which it resides. Former Governor Oliver P. Morton, whose home stood on this location, is represented in the wheelchair. Indiana companies previously headquartered in the building are represented: American Radiator Company, Gregory & Appel Insurance, The Cable-Nelson Piano Company, Story & Clark Pianos, and Shoemaker Smith Auto.
