This triptych painting, inspired by the shapes of airplane wings and three traditional elemental substances, was commissioned from Indianapolis-based artist James Wille Faust for Indianapolis International Airport. The piece is a replacement for another commissioned work by Faust from 2008, which was removed from view in 2011. The painting is located in the Ticket Hall.
Although conceived as a permanent mural for its site, the artwork is considered portable.
