    Ga5 Arts & Performance aspires to uplift, mentor, and infuse the community with performing arts. We provide a platform for all genres: artists, musicians, filmmakers, and performers to develop and showcase their art. We also provide a venue for community and corporate needs. We believe language is an “Artform”. We are devoted to bringing a positive dialog to the community through it’s expression!

    The Indianapolis Artsgarden is situated in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. A sleek glass and steel icon for the city, the Artsgarden is a seven-story tall, glass-enclosed structure that will make an unforgettable experience for you and your guests. The Indianapolis Artsgarden presents free, monthly visual exhibitions and more than 300 concerts per year. The space serves as a sophisticated location for hundreds of private events, corporate parties, press conferences, wedding receptions, and more. The Indianapolis Artsgarden is owned and operated by the Arts Council of Indianapolis, and houses the Cultural Concierge, a centralized resource for arts calendars, free maps, visitor guides, and other information on Indianapolis arts and cultural events.     The Indy Folk Series is a listening room venue for acoustic music, presenting a wide array of genres — from Americana, roots and bluegrass, to singer-songwriters, Celtic, swing, and acoustic jazz — and everything in between. Since its founding in 2001, the Indy Folk Series has featured established national touring acts as well as regional and local artists. Audiences enjoy a comfortable, intimate venue with opportunities to meet the performers, and first rate acoustics. The season, which runs from September through May, normally presents nine concerts, which are held once a month on Saturday evenings at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Indianapolis. Light refreshments are available.

    Based in Indianapolis, IN we’re an integral part of the community. The Madam Walker Legacy Center is a 501 c3 non-profit organization dedicated to preserving Madam’s legacy by providing cultural education, promoting social justice, supporting entrepreneurship and empowering youth to become the next generation of entrepreneurs and civic leaders. We continue to serve as an enduring symbol of not only African-American pride and achievement but for all citizens of the world by perpetuating the legacy of our nation’s first self-made millionaire, Madam CJ Walker.

    The Old National Centre, formerly the Murat Centre, is a multi-purpose facility offering great versatility for events of all sizes. Since constructed in 1909, the Old National Centre has demonstrated to be a significant architectural and historical landmark.     The Basile Cultural Center is home to Imagine Indy, INC, a neighborhood non-profit with a mission is to increase the quality of life and culture in the Garfield Park community through the development, beautification, and maintenance of public spaces, gardens, and art. This center exists as a direct result of Frank and Katrina Basile’s generosity.

    The Jazz Kitchen opened its doors in 1994 as Indy’s premier destination for jazz and beyond. Recognized as one of the “Top 100 Jazz Clubs in the World” by Downbeat Magazine, The Jazz Kitchen presents a wide variety of local, regional and international jazz artists in an intimate 140 seat supper club style venue. Past notable performers include Harry Connick Jr., Ray Brown, JJ Johnson, Jane Monheit, Maynard Ferguson, Billy Cobham, Diane Schuur, John Scofield, Soulive, James Moody, David “Fathead” Newman and Dee Dee Bridgewater. The Jazz Kitchen menu is NOLA meets Midwest cuisine. A touch of the “Big Easy” represented by Satchmo’s Etoufee, Not-So-Cajun Chicken, ‘po boys and Crescent City Crab Cakes complementing midwest fresh-from-the butcher steaks, chops and burgers.     The Marilyn Rose Center is an artist community center located in the old south side of Indianapolis. We strive to have a place for all artists to come and be creative, whether it’s on our outdoor free walls, renting a studio from us, or working in one of our public areas. Our space offers sixteen artist studios, two performance stages, an event room, and we also have a seasonal haunted house that is created & run by most all of the resident artists here. We continue the tradition of free outdoor public art walls that our namesake, Marilyn Rose Simpson, created when she donated the outside walls to students from the Herron School of Art and Design.

    Formerly the home of the cinema, theater, and band rehearsal space for Fort Benjamin Harrison, Theater at the Fort is now the center of the Fort Ben Cultural Campus. With movie screenings, musical performances, and plays, the Theater stays true to its heritage while providing a space for the community of Lawrence to enjoy and participate in art. The Theater is also home to Arts for Lawrence, a non-profit dedicated to advocating for the need and importance of a thriving arts destination in the shaping of a safe and lively community.
