OH YEAH!

From the artist, Chris Dacre:

"War. It's not an easy subject to dissect. Using color and humor, I create mixed-media environments where the human element is eliminated and replaced by imaginary soldiers. My time spent in the Air Force was my entry point into researching the convoluted relationships behind the military-industrial-entertainment complex and my artwork is the filtered regurgitation of this information.”

Chris’s work utilizes elements of printmaking as well as sculpture to create fabric-based environments that playfully discuss the tenuous topic of war.

This exhibition will be in the Berkshire, Reese and Paul Galleries.  There will be an Artist Talk on Friday, January 16 at 6 p.m. in the Basile Auditorium followed by an opening reception.
