Lilly Collection of Orchids in Watercolor

This exhibition features a selection of 30 orchid watercolors collected by Josiah K. Lilly, son of the founder of Eli Lilly and Company and its president from 1898 until 1932. A wide spectrum of orchids, including cattleyas, oncidiums and paphiopediliums, are represented. Some of the orchids pictured were awarded honors by England’s Royal Horticultural Society.
