Artists Sought for Mural Panels in Noblesville

Gordon Marketing is soliciting artists to design and paint mural panels to be installed in designated spaces between the first and second floor windows on their building at 110 N. 9th Street in Noblesville, formerly Key Bank. These panels are meant to beautify the building and add vibrancy to Noblesville’s Cultural Arts District. Artists may propose designs for one or more of these panels. Panel designs are encouraged to celebrate Noblesville’s history, heritage, and culture, whimsically embracing Noblesville’s ‘hip-storic’ identity.

Budget: $25/sq.ft. (total $7,874); panels provided by property owner; multiple artists may be selected

Eligibility: Age 18 or older

Deadline: January 5, 2020, 11:59 p.m.

Artist Scope of Work

  • Developing a design that celebrates Noblesville’s history and culture and complements the building’s facade
  • Painting and sealing a panel or panels provided by the building owner
  • Coordinating with the building owner and the Noblesville Arts Council to develop an approved design
  • Coordinating with the building owner and Nickel Plate Arts for installation of the panel(s)

  2. The west side of the building has two panels that are 7’4” x 4’3” and six panels that are 8’8” x 4’3”.
