The Indiana Wildlife Arts seek visual art entries. The exhibit is open to US residents (not just those who live in Indiana) who show a serious approach to wildlife or botanical art. Each artist may enter only three entries in oil, watercolor, pastel, drawings, photography, digital, carving, sculpture, mixed media or open. Entry fee is $50 for non-members; members have already paid. For a complete list of rules and entry form, please visit www.IndianaWildlifeArtists.org Deadline for receipt of entries is July 2, 2021.
Eligibility: Open to US artists w/ serious approach to wildlife/botanical art.
Media: Oil, watercolor, pastel, drawings, photography, digital, carving, sculpture, etc.
Size/other restrictions: Must be WILD (not domestic) animals/plants.
2D total maximum allocation of space for each artist will be 2,500 square inches. (Examples: a 40 in. x 40 in. piece equals 1,600 sq. in. and a 18 in. x 24 in.canvas with a 2 in. frame {20 in. x 26 in.} equals 520 sq. in. together both totaling 2,120 square inches.)
3D max height is 28" with a max base of 18" and max weight of 25 lbs. Must be free standing and durable with no installation accepted.
Entry fee: $50 for up to 3 entries for non-members For members your exhibit fee was included with your Membership Dues. Limit of 3 entries per artist. Slides, photos or digital .jpg pictures of artwork are not required for members but are required to join plus images of artwork will be on the online gallery.
Juror(s) Juried by fine artist judge, Carl Schafer, plus one naturalist judge, (TBA)
Show/event dates: Sunday, August 29 - September 30, 2021, with awards/reception on Saturday, August 28th Time is TBA.
Sales commission: 40%
Insurance: Artist’s responsibility
