FOOTLITE MUSICALS announces open auditions for FIRST DATE, a cabaret-style production to run in January 2020.
Auditions for this production are Saturday, September 28th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm or Sunday, September 29th from 6:30pm to 10:00pm. Callbacks are on Monday, September 30th at 7:00pm. Auditions will take place at Footlite Musicals, located at 1847 North Alabama Street. If you have a conflict with the audition time, please contact the producer or director ASAP to arrange an audition. The staff is seeking an ethnically diverse cast (stage age 25 and older), which will consist of seven actors - five of them will play several roles.
Please prepare a verse and a chorus from a Broadway musical other than FIRST DATE. An accompanist will be provided; please bring sheet music in the correct key. Be prepared to read from the script.
Rehearsals will begin in mid to late October and will be in the evening during the week, with some rehearsals on Saturdays and Sundays. No rehearsals on Fridays. Production dates are January 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18 and 19 of 2020. There is no participation fee to be involved.
