Call for Entries - Chronicles of Resilience, an exhibition for the Spirit & Place Festival

About the Exhibition

Artists are the chroniclers of the times, the ones who explore and reflect their understanding of the world we live in and how it impacts each of us. Awareness of our mental health shows up in the work we produce and puts us sometimes in a place of vulnerability. However, the authentic stories we tell showcase our honesty and truthfulness and often help viewers find their own life experience mirrored back to them.

Chronicles of Resilience invites artists who have an experience with mental illness, either themselves or someone they care about, to apply with work to an exhibition sponsored by the collaborating partners of the Fine Arts program at Ivy Tech Community College, Central Indiana and the Circle City Industrial Complex.  The exhibition will be held Nov. 5th - 15th, 2021 at the Circle City Industrial Complex.
