Epilogue Players is excited to announce auditions for “The Wild Women of Winedale”, a hilarious comedy by the incomparable writing team of Jones, Hope and Wooten. The play will be directed by Jim Thorp.
Audition dates are April 18 and 19 at 7 PM at the Epilogue theatre, 1849 N. Alabama Street in Indianapolis.
Production dates will be June 10-20, 2021 with performances Thursday through Sunday each weekend.
This joyful and exuberant, yet ultimately touching, comedy focuses on three women at crossroads in their lives—the Wild sisters of Winedale, Virginia—Fanny and Willa and their frustratingly quirky sister-in-law Johnnie Faye. The cast includes roles for up to 9 women with doubling possible.
The principal roles are:
Fanny Wild Cantrelle, 60
Willa Wild, Mid 50’s
Johnnie Faye “Jef” Wild, Mid 50’s
Six women participating in interview segments as part of Fanny’s story line. Each character has a single monologue, ages early 40’s to late 70’s. Roles may be doubled.
(All ages are stage ages.)
