Reconnecting to Our Waterways has funding available to host “events” (which can be virtual) to convene, foster, and inform around ROW’s Mission, Vision, and Values. The activity must take place within one of ROW’s Waterway focus areas and must demonstrate measurable outcomes (i.e. number of people engaged/ educated). One of ROW’s key goals is to promote equitable access to the waterways and/or meet the needs of underserved populations. Funds must be spent before the end of December, 2020.
The maximum request is $1,500 per event and requests must be made through a ROW Waterway or Element committee. There is an Arts & Culture Element Committee to receive proposals related to interpreting and advocating for waterways through arts and cultural interventions.
Funding opportunities are made possible through the generous support of Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust and Central Indiana Community Foundation.
