The Indianapolis Zoo invites artists to apply for the 19th annual Naturally Inspired Paint Out presented by the Great Frame Up Downtown on Saturday, April 10, part of the xZOOberance Spring Festival, a celebration of music, dance, art and nature.
Fifteen artists are chosen by the selection committee to spend a beautiful spring day creating art at the Indianapolis Zoo, being inspired by animals and Nature. Each artist receives a stipend to cover the cost of materials.
This event is not just for painters – illustrators, digital artists, ceramic artists, fabric artists – all are welcome!
Paint Out continues to grow every year, and they look forward to this year’s group of imaginative minds and the one-of-a-kind pieces that will be created to help the Zoo achieve their mission of protecting nature and inspiring people to care for our world.
Applications are due Friday, Feb. 26 by 5pm. For more information and to apply, visit https://www.indianapoliszoo.com/events/naturally-inspired-paint-out/.
