Full Job Description
We are looking for an awesome and friendly Door Person that will be the first person our guests encounter. Because first impressions make a lasting impression, the Door Person is extremely important to providing an excellent experience to our customers from that very first moment.
Door Person must always remain professional, calm, and in control of every potential situation. The ideal candidate should be customer-friendly and outgoing.
Ultimately, this position helps ensure that our guests receive excellent customer service and enjoy their time.
Check identification to verify customer age; if the event is for all ages, adhere bracelets to guests over 21 who wish to purchase alcohol
Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner as they enter and leave the facility
Remain in position at the door wearing appropriate identification unless relived by another staff member
Be aware of all required ATC rules and regulations for the venue
Maintain control of access and club entry lines
Verify prior to entry that the person is not obviously intoxicated
Verify that the person is not carrying a weapon or contraband
Perform pat-down or bag search for events when required
Enforce the dress code and refuse objectionable attire
Refuse admission to people who have been banned in the past
Direct communication with bouncers and management
Access and egress control and fire safety duties
Remove trash and help clean as available and needed
Call the police to report criminal acts, as required
Help set up and take down chairs and tables at the beginning and end of the shift
Director of Marketing and Sales
Must have a Customer service experience as a Door Person or other position requiring interaction with guests in the hospitality, restaurant or retail industry
Must have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Must be physically able to lift beer kegs, hold trays of bottles and glassware, and stand during the shift
A Liquor/Bartender license from the Indiana Alcohol Tobacco Commission is a plus
Able to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and public holidays when required
Preferably knowledge of a second language is a plus
Preferably 21 years of age or older
Should pass the background check
