CALL FOR ARTWORK
Pride Alliance: Threads of Our Diversity
Location: Columbus, Indiana
Dates: September 30, October 1 and 2, 2016
About The Exhibition:
The exhibition will celebrate LGBT artists and their allies. It is hosted as a pop-up exhibition in a storefront in downtown Columbus, IN. An opening reception will take place on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 5:30 PM.
About Pride Alliance:
The PRIDE Alliance of Columbus, Indiana is working toward an inclusive community where everyone shares equally the benefits and obligations of a benevolent society and where we can all live to our fullest potential. They are committed to a safe and supportive Columbus where there is full equality and respect for individual dignity.
Open to all artists working in all media. Artwork does need to directly address LGBT history, themes or issues, or diversity in general.
Review and Selection:
Work will be reviewed by committee. Artists will be contacted by August 31, 2016 and informed what works are selected for the exhibition. Artwork will be hand delivered or shipped for installation by September 15, 2016 to the address that will be provided upon acceptance into the exhibition.
How to Submit Your Work:
Please send images of up to five artworks to email@example.com. Images should be sent as an attachment in jpeg format. Please send images at 300dpi at 8×10 for publicity purposes. Video works can be sent in MP4 format via http://www.filedropper.com/. Videos should be 250MB or less for the judging phase. Please name your files artist name, title. For example John Doe, My Title.jpeg. Works not submitted following the above instructions will not be considered by the committee.
Submitted images must be accompanied by a single Word or PDF document with the following information on each work submitted:

6. Your name as you would like it to appear (should you be selected for this exhibition)
7. Optional: your website, artist statement, resume, bio.

While there is no submission fee for this exhibition, artists are responsible for outgoing and return shipping, therefore small works are highly encouraged.
