Join a sales and marketing team with a sheet music company that's been in existence for over 140 years. Requirements include good oral and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of performance and/or educational music.
Responsibilities:
- Complete computer based tasks related to marketing
- Interface with customers in store and at music events
- Provide feedback to marketing manager regarding specific projects
Required skills:
- Be able to assist customers in shopping for music and taking orders
- Complete phone research to maintain customer database
- Communicate with customers and vendors in written form via email or letters
- Perform internet research
- Maintain lists and documents in programs such as Microsoft Excel and Word
- Data entry and maintenance in Pepper's operation system
- Maintain an orderly, professional working area to keep the professional look of the store consistent throughout
- Present an appropriate business casual appearance
Expectations:
- Staff will support regional marketing efforts as defined by the regional manager
- Staff will cover store functions, such as maintaining the stock and reference center areas
- Staff will perform basic housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean environment
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $12.00 /hour
