Join Herron artists, designers and scholars for the Phillip Tennant Visiting Artisan Lecture, which will be delivered by Jason Schneider, a Michigan-based artist and furniture maker.
Schneider has recently explored the possibilities of corrugated cardboard to create functional furniture and sculptural objects that elevate this seemingly everyday material to a new level.
This event, which is free and open to the public, will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 6, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Eskenazi Hall’s Basile Auditorium. It will also be live streamed live at facebook.com/HerronGalleries.

Schneider’s talk is held in conjunction with the exhibition COLOR follows FORM follows TEXTURE: New Work by Jason Schneider, which will be on display in the Basile Gallery from Sept. 17 to Oct. 22, and is partially supported by Herron’s furniture design program.
