A New View Film Series seeks to promote understanding and foster respect for differences through the lenses of interfaith understanding, social justice and diversity and, civil discourse.

In 1862 an event occurred, in what is now Minnesota that was the result of Federal policy and a newly formed state to remove the Dakota people from their lands and led to the largest mass hanging in US history on December 26, 1862. Dakota 38 tells the recent story of a series of horseback rides charting the 19th-century journey that brings the Dakota people together, raises awareness about the significant impact of past events, and explores the powerful potential of reconciliation efforts.
