Art from the Heartland Opening Reception

 The Indianapolis Art Center’s biennial Art from the Heartland exhibition features work from some of the Midwest’s most exciting and promising artists. This year, Sarah Urist Green, curator and creator of The Art Assignment, combed through more than 250 entries and selected over 60 unique pieces to be included in the exhibition. Art from the Heartland is the Art Center’s survey on the state of contemporary art in the Midwest, highlighting artists from Indiana and surrounding states. April 11 – June 8, 2014
