The exhibition highlights the work and experiences of thirty fellows that make up a wide variety of disciplines and experiences, serving as a culmination of their 18 months in the program. Originally conceived as a renewal opportunity similar to an academic sabbatical, the Creative Renewal Arts Fellowship program offers artists and arts administrators the opportunity to renew and refresh their creativity. Every odd-year, the program awards thirty $10,000 fellowships to qualified professional artists and arts administrators who are employed by a nonprofit. Since the inception of the fellowship, the Arts Council has awarded $3.675 million to 430 artists and arts administrators in all artistic disciplines.
