Both drama and song, Mother Ireland presents significant periods in twentieth century Irish history through the experiences of women: The Rising, Civil War, and Troubles.

Granána is the stage name for MaryAnne Mathews and Kate Duffy Sim, grandmothers and retired teachers who present Irish history in story and song. Guest performer Shari Grinnell, Kate’s daughter, has been singing, dancing, and acting for over twenty years, and teaches middle school.
