First Friday Art Show: XPRESSIONZ

“XPRESSIONZ,” a group show organized by Clayton Hamilton for InSight Art Promotion, showcases an array of ideas and materials by five artists to create personal Xpressionz, celebrating diversity in their spirit, style, backgrounds, interests, and imaginations. Artists featured include Rebecca Robinson, a painter working with acrylics, tar, and concrete; Judie Sloan, a glass fusionist; Johnson Simon, an impressionist painter and sculptor; Matthew Cooper, a painter utilizing acrylics; and Peter Rujuwa, a sculptor.

Complimentary snacks and beverages will be available at the First Friday reception on March 6, 6-9 p.m. Guests can also tour Indiana Landmarks Center at 1201 Central Avenue in Indianapolis. Built as a Methodist church in the nineteenth century, the restored and adapted structure holds theaters and a reception hall in addition to the gallery and Indiana Landmarks’ headquarters.
