IDADA First in Line Show

You are invited to the Indianapolis Artist and Dealer’s Associations (IDADA) eighth annual First in Line Art Exhibition and Sale, the awesomely fun and slightly competitive fundraising event. The slightly competitive component comes into play as art lovers line up at the locked gallery door, jockeying for the best position, so they can get the choicest art from the walls when the sale opens at 7:00 pm. Once a work is purchased, an instant photo is taken of the buyer and the work of art. The photo is posted on the gallery wall in place of the art and the happy buyer leaves with a work of art in his or her hot little hands. As the evening goes on, the gallery morphs into a documentary snapshot show! For thos who might miss being first in line – or second or third, you will have another whack at buying art following evening, during the IDADA First Friday Art Tour, from 6:00-9:00pm.
