INDIANAPOLIS SOCIETY OF THE CLASSICAL GUITAR

Denis Azabagic is considered one of the best guitarist of his generation. In 1993, at the age of 20, he became the youngest winner of one of the most prestigious International Guitar Competition: “Jacinto e Inocencio Guerrero”, Madrid, Spain. After his success in Madrid he went on to be a prize winner in virtually every competition in which he participated including the 1998 Guitar Foundation of America competition. As a soloist Denis has performed with various orchestras and he given recitals throughout Asia, Europe, the UnitedStates, and Canada. He has recorded seven CD’s and two DVD’s as well as written a book, On Competitions, advising new players on how to prepare for the competition stage.
