Founded in 2005, Third Coast Percussion creates an experience like no other, blending the energy of a rock concert with the precision of chamber music. This “sonically spectacular” (Chicago Tribune) quartet will perform John Cage’s Third Construction, George Crumb’s Music for a Summer Evening, Makrokosmos III (1974) and Augusta Read Thomas’ Resounding Earth (2012), joined by pianists Daniel Schlosberg and Amy Briggs.
