UIndy Brass Concert

UIndy brass faculty perform in solo, duo, trio, and quintet combinations with music of Giuseppe Verdi, Anton Bruckner, George Gershwin, Anthony Plog, Kerry Turner, Peter Meechan, and others. The evening will also feature performances by an ensemble of guest trumpeters and an appearance by the UIndy Trumpet Ensemble.

Special guest Doc Severinsen will lead the Guest Artists Trumpet Ensemble in the opening fanfare and will be featured in Gershwin’s “Someone to Watch Over Me.” Guest Ronald Romm, former and founding member of the Canadian Brass, will perform with our faculty quintet in Luther Henderson’s arrangement of “Amazing Grace.”
