2023 American Pianists Awards winner and UIndy Artist-in-Residence Isaiah J. Thompson performs with the UIndy Jazz Quintet.
Isaiah J. Thompson is the winner of the 2023 American Pianists Awards and the Cole Porter Fellowship in Jazz and is Artist-in-Residence at University of Indianapolis.
Students in the University of Indianapolis’ Jazz Combo I perform music by jazz masters such as Dizzy Gillespie, Horace Silver, and Thelonious Monk. This group also performs original songs written by its students and tunes composed for Broadway musicals during the early part of the 20th century.
