VonnegutFest Quilt Unveiling and Tea Party

Join us on November 11, Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.’s Birthday and Veteran’s Day, between 12 and 2pm for the unveiling of the quilt being donated to KVML by the Indy Modern Quilt Guild and enjoy tea and pastries provided by Tea’s Me Indy.
“Practicing an Art” was created by the Indianapolis Modern Quilt Guild for The Modern Quilt Guild’s QuiltCon 2020 Charity Quilt Challenge. Every year, this challenge is issued to local guilds with a theme and a color palette. The 2020 theme was text in a palette of grayscale. From design through construction, this was a collaborative project involving 23 guild members.
Tickets are limited to 25 per hour to allow for social distancing. Masks are required and we will be taking temperatures at the door. The quilt unveiling will be at 12:45 and will also be shown on Facebook Live!
