Where Mercy and Truth Meet: Homeless Women of Wheeler

You are invited to a performance of the composed stories from ‘Where Mercy and Truth Meet: Homeless Women of Wheeler Speak’ featuring slam poets: Manon Bullock, Kelsey Johnson, and Carla Salee. The women of Wheeler will be in attendance and copies of the anthology will be available for $15.

This summer, Indiana Writers Center volunteers met and wrote with homeless women at Wheeler’s Mission for Women and Children and helped them write stories about their lives. Their stories are full of struggle, heartbreak, and hope and are now available in a published anthology.

We invite you to bring a new or gently used purse full of sanitary and hygiene items to donate to the women of Wheeler.
