The Johnson County Museum houses over 20,000 objects, photographs, and documents relating to Johnson County’s past and present. The genealogy library contains original Johnson County records including marriage and death records, and official tax and court records. The museum is housed in the former Masonic Temple building build in 1925, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
