April in Paris + Ses Amis – featuring Gail Payne and The Playground Open Mic
After performing in St. Louis, Chicago, The Cabaret in Indy, and making her New York City debut at Feinstein’s 54 Below last year, Payne, with David Duncan on piano, bring Montmartre to The Jazz Kitchen with songs inspired by French composers, standards you know and love, sprinkled with clever selections with a French twist. A few friends will join her to preview a new open mic night, “The Playground,” by featuring five other local performers to offer songs, comedy, and original stories.
