Spatial
Date created: August 2020
Spatial forms the centerpiece of the activated North Alley in Noblesville. The North Alley activation includes an archway entrance, colorful sun sail shades, tables and chairs, and Gobo theater lights, which project images onto the brick wall and new planter boxes. The mural, by Noblesville native and Indianapolis-based artist Andrea Haydon, features the state of Indiana and was funded through a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
Andrea Haydon is an Indianapolis-based graphic designer, artist, and muralist. She studied experiential art and design in Hesse, Germany, was a part of the design team that created the graphics for Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis, has served as an adjunct professor at Herron School of Art + Design and was named one of the Top 100 Best Young Advertisers in the Country by the Art Directors Club of New York.
